Rory MacKenzie
Principle Adviser
Rory has had more than 20 years’ experience as a self-employed financial planner, he established Prom Country Financial Planning Pty Ltd in 2003, and grew the business through purely organic growth until 2008, when he acquired a Gippsland client register.
His previous background was that as a partner in an accountancy business in South Gippsland for 5 years, he first became partner at the age of 25. This accountancy firm’s speciality, was farming and self-employed business clients. As the principal adviser, Rory’s core business is looking after the risk insurance needs of medical professionals and self-employed business clients
Rory holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), is highly regarded in the financial planning industry.
Away from work Rory is passionate about fishing, the wine industry, Geelong Football Club and of course his wife Joanne and his two boys.

Jo O’Connor
Insurance,Claims & Investment Manager
Jo joined our team in February 2019 and brings over 20 years of administrative experience across a range of industries, including hospitality, bookkeeping, and accounts management within the construction sector. She also has prior experience working in local media.
Jo and her family spent seven years in Tasmania, where they owned and managed a window furnishings business, before returning to South Gippsland.
Outside of her professional role, Jo enjoys spending time with her family, particularly her three grandchildren. She has an interest in musical theatre and enjoys travelling and exploring the outdoors through caravanning.

Alliza Miel
Client Manager
Alliza joined our team in July 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a major in Financial Planning and minors in Finance and Marketing.
Previously, Alliza was a vocal teacher in local primary and secondary schools. She is now dedicated to assisting individuals in building and achieving a more purposeful life through financial planning.
Outside of her professional commitments, Alliza has previously showcased her talent on stage in lead roles with the Wonthaggi Theatrical Group. Additionally, she values spending time outdoors in nature with her two dogs, Kobi and Benji.

Katherine Dichosa
Client Services/Administrative Associate
Katherine joined our team in January 2026.
Katherine holds a degree in Management, which has allowed her to gain valuable experience in various fields, including finance. She completed her internship at a local bank in the Philippines, where she gained hands-on experience working with different clients. Additionally, she held a part-time role at a pharmaceutical company, where she focused primarily on financial tasks.
Outside of work, Katherine enjoys spending time at home watching movies and series. She also loves exploring new places and spending quality time with friends and family.

Jevy Moreno
Client Services/Administrative Associate
Jevy joined our team in February 2026.
She earned her degree in Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting and successfully passed the public service examination in the Philippines. She began her career through an on-the-job training program at an accounting firm, where she gained experience in auditing.
Her first professional role was as an Accounting Associate, spending a year handling bookkeeping and tax compliance.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, doing home workouts, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
