November is Movember month! Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men. Mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer – Movember takes them all on.

Men’s health is in crisis. Men are dying on average 6 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons. Unchecked, prostate cancer rates will double over the next 15 years. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among men aged 15-39 years of age. And across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 75% of all suicides.

Movember is uniquely placed to address this crisis on a global scale. Movember fund groundbreaking projects all over the world, engaging men where they are to understand what works best and accelerate change.

How Movember will make change:

  • Give men the facts
  • Change behavior for the better
  • Create services that work for men
  • Unite the brightest minds
  • Listen to the community and advocate for men

Movember uses funding to impact men’s health both locally and globally. They invest in country- and culture-specific health projects while collaborating on game-changing solutions that address the men’s health crisis on a global scale. Movember shares what they learn and report thoroughly on every initiative that is funded. They hold themselves accountable, measuring success along the way to ensure they are always learning and improving.
